This is what he looked like this morning...
Oh my goodness! What in the world?? These pictures actually look MUCH better than they would have if I would have taken them at 11:00pm last night. That's when my child woke up screaming. Yup, it was one of those nights. He eye suddenly swelled and continued to get bigger as the night wore on. We talked with the doctor several times and we started doses on Benadryl this morning. Which, by the way, is good to know that Benadryl certainly does not make our child sleepy. Oh no, it has the opposite effect...wonderful.
So this morning, when the swelling wasn't getting any better our doctor decided he would meet us up at the office. On a SUNDAY? Praise the Lord! We were so thankful that we weren't sent to the Er...those places are never fun! The doctor told us he would have a mini-clinic for Carson and he was so gracious to see us today. Side note: if you are in the Houston area and need a fantastic group of doctors you must try Blue Fish Pediatrics. They love the Lord and love children as well!
The doctor said the swelling was most likely from a mosquito bite and should go down in a few days, no antibiotics needed. Thank you Jesus! In the mean time, sweet Carson will just look a little funny!

It is such a small world! My husband worked with Kaytie at Yellowstone and that's how we met. We just love them!!!
Also, I was actually looking into Blue Fish Pediatrics...so funny that you mentioned them. Glad to hear you love it there. I might be picking your brain about it more in a few months. :)

I thought after I read your blog about your anniversary trip that we were in the same area that weekend. Crazy how small the world is! Too bad we didn't run into each other, that would have been great! Hope Carson's eye is getting better!
