* Some nights, the thought of wrestling with my almost 3 year old to brush his teeth is just too much. So I don't do it. I think it's been 4 nights in a row now and I haven't made him brush his teeth. Bad mom, I know.
* The one thing people tell me that annoys me the most is "Callie, God will never give you more than you can handle." Oh my word. Don't get me started on that! I completely, fully, and whole heartedly disagree with that statement. My reasons are long and heated, so I will just leave it at that.
* I'm secretly looking forward to having my cerclage (google it if you're curious) done next week. It will mean a brief dose of anesthesia and 48 hours of bed rest. Praise Jesus!
* I made no New Years resolutions. It's not my kinda thing to do. Right now I just survive one day at a time!
* My Christmas decorations are currently sitting in my living room and the tree is still up. The ornaments are at least off the tree and in boxes. But still, the tree remains.

whole heartedly agree with statement #2. He gives us more so we can depend on Him more...otherwise we would rely completely on ourselves.
Love your confessions
I don't brush E's teeth often either. Can't handle the screaming. Your confession about bed rest cracked me up. Enjoy it!!
1.yeah...Ive been thinking about that statement too...is that even biblical at all? There are so many phrases like that we have adopted into our American Christian culture.
2. I still have Christmas stuff up too...we are moms. Our job is to love on our kids and care for them. The rest is optional:) as far as I'm concerned.
3. I miss you and love you. Wish we could live closer.
I am off to write my confessions too
You are hilarious! First of all, congrats!!!! And I totally agree with you on enjoying 48 hours of rest. I had a little procedure on Thursday and the time in bed was GLORIOUS!!
You just made me laugh really hard (and I confess #1 also, sometimes it is just not worth the fight!)
Ashley Marler pointed me to your blog when I found out I was having twins awhile ago. I've enjoyed reading your blog since then.
I just had to post a hearty AMEN to your number two. I have five kids born in six years and I can't count the number of times people have said that to me. It takes a lot of self control to smile and not say what I'm thinking!
Congratulations on baby number 4. I am praying for you and your sweet family!
Oh, enjoy that 48 hours!
And I totally agree with your second confession. If he didn't give us more than we can handle, we'd never rely on him! Preach it, sister!
