I have a love hate relationship with blogging. I love to do it, but I hate that I don't make more time to do it. So today, I hired a perfectly capable, energetic, fun, and much younger than me babysitter to keep my kids. I have locked myself in my room to do fun things like sort through baby clothes and pay bills {hooray!}.
I'm taking a break from the clothing situation happening in the middle of my floor, and bringing you a totally random blog post.
This was our Valentine's Day card/Change of address card. Isn't it precious???
My sweet friend Missy took the pictures and designed the card. In 24 hours, nonetheless. Oh yeah, and she has a full time job, and two children of her own. She's amazing.
So, I rushed the print order for the cards. Furiously addressed them and got them in the mail in time for Valentine's Day.
Can I get an amen?!
But then, I checked my mail and over HALF of the cards were mailed back to me!!
Why?? Because the mail carrier who picked up 1/2 of them thought that our return address was the "to" address. Awesome. So today, I am going to mail them out again. Hopefully they will get to our friends and family before the month of March. Ugh. Drive on.
Back to sorting through clothes...
I found these two dresses of my girls'. Wow. Can't believe the twins were ever that tiny! I think about those day and how sweet and little they were. And then I think about all the sleepless nights and the screaming baby x2, and I get over the nostalgia real quick.
In other news, I ordered 4 panels of these curtains for our play room and I can't wait to get them! I wanted to be safe and go with either the grey or the navy blue, but my sister in law {who happens to be an interior designer, you can find her here} suggested the yellow. And I made the jump! So yellow it is! I'll post after pictures when they arrive!
Another random event: Carson's pirate ship was delivered to our house a few weeks ago. Thanks to the help of some of our amazing friends, and very muscular men I might add, the Black Pearl now resides permanently at our home. The kids are loving having it here.
And my goodness. Look at this little red head. Still can't believe how big she is getting.
Thanks for sticking with this post. It was random, but I kinda loved it.
