This past week I took Carson up to my dad's work (mainly just so that I could get out of the house!). My dad is the assistant athletic director for Cy-Fair ISD and works at the Berry Center. He walked Carson around and I have never seen his little eyes as big as they were when we walked onto the arena floor. I mean for real! That place even makes a grown up feel small. Poor kid, he didn't know what to think!

Thursday night my dad played at a local restaurant off 290 (if you live in the area you should definitely check him out!) so we took Carson along. He loved being outside and was great! We, of course, had a good time showing him off! Here's Carson with Mimi (my mom).

I just had to take a few pics of the boy in this outfit my mom made for him. Believe it or not, he actually has a burp rag that matches it. My mom goes a little crazy with the monogramming (but I secretly love it!)

Saturday night Chris and I actually got to go out on a date - and I was able to start a meal AND finish a meal in the same sitting - UNBELIEVABLE people :)! We saw the movie Baby Mama (good flick, but probably a rental - not as funny as I thought it would be) and ate at Macaroni Grill. Of course I drug Chris to the mall. What's a date without strolling through Willowbrook mall with all the teenagers? I did run into a former student who shouted "Hey Mrs. Smith!". Beautiful.

You guys are spoiled rotten having free babysitting anytime! I'm so jealous. It looks like Carson has been getting hairstyling tips from Cooper!

that hair cracks me up! Where does your dad play? Cade would love to sit outside and listen to music. He's obsessed with guitars (and ukelele's but that's thanks to the Doodlebops...you'll learn all the fun shows soon!:).
