Summer Lovin'

So this weekend we took Carson to visit the pool for the first time. The best part about this entire trip was the little French swim trunks that my precious Aunt Alice bought for him. We are definitely not a European family so this whole one-piece-swim-trunk get up was pretty funny to us. Why, you say, did we not put Carson in a normal looking swim suit? The child does have 11 swim suits (yes, count them, 11!) however not one of them fits him! Crazy, I know. So we resorted to the French inspired onesie and despite his father's objections to the attire, we dressed the boy and headed to the pool...take a look at what transpired...

Carson and me outside at the pool. We really wanted to swim out doors (mainly so I could get some sun on my scary white legs) but it was entirely too hot outside and I definitely didn't want my baby sun burned! Oh well...a couple cute pictures before we headed to the indoor pool...


Once inside, this was Carson's first reaction to the cool water "WAAHH!"

All in all, Carson really enjoyed the water. We will attempt a second swim this weekend at my brother's house in Dallas, minus the French attire. I just don't think Chris can bare the sight of his boy in these pastel stripes...Chris says it's against the "man code". Whatever.
