Not the way it was supposed to be

I'm sure you've been like me before. You've dreamed a dream and believed it would come true. Like me, you talked about it, prayed about. It was going to be so wonderful.

This wasn't the way it was supposed to be.

My sweet sister-in-love and brother have waited years for this. We have dreamed with them. Prayed alongside them. Hoped for them.

This wasn't the way it was supposed to be.

But, like Kara so beautifully wrote, our God is good. He is faithful. He is good. All things work together for His glory.

But Lord, this one hurts.

Sweet baby, we loved you already....
