Girl Stuff & Boy Stuff

BOY STUFF:
Last weekend we celebrated Father's Day and it was great!  Chris got breakfast in bed, a fabulous service at church and gifts!  Sadly, this was the only picture I took that day.

Oops!  I lied.  I also got this picture:
We went to my parents' house that night and Chris got on the floor and arm wrestled my mom.  Wow.  How many men arm wrestle their mother-in-law?  That's my man!

Chris also decided that it was about time for Carson to have his own basketball goal.  We could have just gotten a cheap, small one.  Nope, Chris was having none of that.  Carson needed the taller, {better} goal.  Secretly, I think Chris just wanted this one because it came with NBA stickers.  Of course, Carson is too short for it.  Chris says this will teach him to jump.  Unlikely.

GIRL STUFF:
My sewing drama continues.
I am notorious for cutting out my patterns too big so this time I thought I would cut it true to size.  Bad idea.  Now the top is too tight.  Mom is coming over soon to rescue me from my poor sewing skills.  Here's the top that's too tight.  Grrr!

Cade LOVES his basketball goal. Reid has started shooting on it also. I think we are going to have to upsize for Cade soon. He slam dunks on it all the time. Where did you find that bigger one??? Cade's birthday is next week and that might beat out our planned gift!
