Back from Hiatus!

Whew! That was nice! I took a little blog hiatus this past month, and to be honest, I kind of enjoyed it. No offense, but it was time for a little break. We spent the month just being together as a family and oh yeah, dealing with the flu, two teething babies, and fun pregnancy hormones. We didn't let any of that phase us though because the weather here in Houston has been so wonderful lately!! I had forgotten what a difference it makes to be able to get outside with the kids and let out some energy. My days are much better when we can all get some sun! This weekend Carson spent the night with my parents and Chris and I had a date night with our girls. We did a little shopping (i bought their swimsuits for the summer. oh. my. word. the cuteness is out of this world!) and had dinner. The next evening we went out to my parents house to get the little man. Mom borrowed a jump house from a friend we we made good use of it!
Carleigh Kay playing in the bounce house

Caroline Elizabeth had to get in on the action too. She wasn't too sure about all the craziness that big brother created.
This was our best attempt at a picture of all 3 kids.

Seriously? This is too sweet!!!

Do you have a bounce house for your kids? It was a HUGE hit with our family - I think we should probably invest in one!

Wait and get a trampoline! The kids got one for Christmas and they LOVE it. They are out jumping on it every single day. Claire even loves getting on it and crawling around and the boys chase her around.

We don't have one, but have a lot of friends that do and the LOVE it! During the winter when it is too cold to blow it up outside, they put it up in their garage. You could also use it for a lot of future parties and play dates.
